About Paul

Paul D. Sullivan is an attorney who practices in the areas of Criminal Defense, Civil Litigation, Family Law, and Estate Planning. Before joining Measure, Sampsel, Sullivan & O'Brien, P.C., he was a solo practitioner in Bigfork, Montana.

Paul was raised in Bigfork, Montana, and attended The University of Montana as a National Merit Scholar. He received a B.A. in Philosophy and graduated as a distinguished scholar through the Davidson Honor's College. He attended law school at the ivy leauge University of Pennsylvania School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During law school, Paul was a board member of the Unemployment Compensation Project and participated in the Criminal Defense Clinic, working at the Philadelphia Public Defender by representing indigent defendants.

Paul is a member of the Board of Trustees for Bigfork Schools, and the Davidson Honors College External Advisory Committee. He is a former board member of the Community Foundation for a Better Bigfork, the former chairman of the Executive Board for the Flathead Valley of CASA for Kids program, and the former secretary of the Northwest Montana Bar Association. Paul is admitted to practice before Montana district courts, the Montana Supreme Court, Montana federal district court, and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Paul lives in Bigfork with his wife and their two daughters.
